Cooperation with practice

  • Measurement of the radon diffusion coefficient in waterproof membranes according to the method accredited by the Czech Accreditation Institute. Up to now more than 400 types of various damp-proof membranes available on the European market have been measured.
  • Judicial expert in the field of Building structures with the specialization on the Building Physics and Protection of Buildings against radon
  • Cooperation with building contractors in the field of development of new radon protective and remedial measures
  • Research, consultancy and expert`s reports in the field of development, evaluation, design and application of radon reduction techniques
  • Author of the Czech technical standards ČSN 73 0601 Protection of houses against radon from the soil and ČSN 73 0602 Protection of houses against radon and gamma radiation from building materials
