Profile:

Antonín Lupíšek is an expert in sustainability assessment systems in the construction. He is the Director of Science and Innovation at the University Centre for Energy Efficient Buildings of the CTU and lectures on sustainable construction at the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the CTU. He completed his Master's degree in Civil Engineering at the Faculty of Civil Engineering of CTU in 2006 and defended his dissertation on multi-criteria building assessment in 2013. He worked as a researcher at DEKTRADE (R&D solar and facade systems, 2004-2005), then worked at EkoWATT (R&D energy efficiency, 2005-2006). Since 2006 he has worked as a researcher at the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the Czech Technical University in Prague, since 2013 as an assistant professor. Since 2012, he has also been an employee of the University Centre for Energy Efficient Buildings at CTU. He has experience in a number of national and international research projects and has participated in the development of the national certification system SBToolCZ. He is a member of the International Initiative for a Sustainable Built Environment (iiSBE) and was a founding member of the Czech Green Building Council. He is the chair of the organising committee of the international conferences Central Europe towards Sustainable Building held under the auspices of UNEP, CIB and iiSBE in 2010, 2013, 2016 and 2019.
