Short Description:
Students at the Faculty of Civil Engineering in Prague are being informed about fire engineering issues in the subject “Fire Safety of Buildings” in course of the bachelor or master study program. The Department of Architectural Engineering prepared an electronic learning material with a support of the Universities Development Fund for the year 2010 (FRVS). This study material is focused on fire safety solution of easier non-productive buildings emphasising passive fire protection and border informing with active members. Specifically, a textbook in the PDF format, short presentations for practises and a calculation tool for determination of a fire safety distance were prepared in Czech language.
