Anotace:

Building Design Concept, Requirements on Buildings, Structural System, Interaction of Structural Elements, Space Behaviour of Structural System, Vertical Load Bearing Structures (Function, Requirements, Principles of wall and column structure), Floor Structurel (Function, Requirements, Vaults, Timber Floors, RC floors, Steel and Composite Floor Slabs). Expansion Joints in Load Bearing structures, Building Structures, Long Span Structures.

Expansion joints in buildings - effects of non-forced loads on static behavior of buildings, location and structural solutions of expansion joints. Staircases, sloping ramps, lift shafts - structural and material solutions, static principles, load, requirements. Building foundations - foundation conditions, types of foundations, principles, requirements. Interaction of load bearing structure - foundations - soil. Substructure - static principles, load, requirements, dilatation joints. Roof trusses - traditional and modern systems, requirements, design and material solutions, static principles, load. Anchor techniques - profile types, static problems, usage, load, requirements. Waterproofing techniques and systems, requirements, conditions.

Cíle:

Student gets a basic knowledge about functions, materials and requirements for building structures

 

 

Požadavky:

TEMPORARY STUDENTS OF BUILDING STRUCTURE SHOULD HAVE CLASSIFICATION CREDIT FROM COURSE OF K124 XTEC SUMMER SEMESTER

During semester: Individual seminar work on the topic: Traditional structures for vertical or horizontal loadbearing structures in my country.

Cvičení:

Seminary schedule and overview Exercise of Tasks: odd weeks

1. Introduction to the subject, phases of the construction process, principles of creating technical documentation (Task 1: Drawing, 1:50). Design of structural systems of multi-story buildings (Task 2: Design of structural systems, 1:200)
2. Design of the building envelope – determination of the heat transfer coefficient U (Task 2: Design of the envelope and calculation of the heat transfer coefficient)
3. Consultation hour. Longitudinal modular composition of building systems. Installation of window openings in single-layer and sandwich masonry. (Task 4a: Floor plan of a typical floor, 1:50)
4. Design of ceiling structures - monolithic ceiling (Task 4a: Design of a monolithic ceiling structure, shape drawing, 1:50)
Design of ceiling structures - prefabricate and prefabricate monolithic ceiling, high modular composition of building systems (Task 4b: Design of a prefabricated prefabricate monolithic ceiling structure, composition drawing, 1:50; Task 4b: Section of a typical floor 1:50)

5. Construction and temp. technical solution of the continuation of the vertical and ceiling construction at the perimeter wall – complex section (Task 5a, 5b: Complex section at the perimeter wall, 1:20)
Closure Test – Complex section of building 1:20 (10-12 weeks)

6. Design variants of the solution of overhanging structures (Task 6a, 6b: Design of overhanging structures, 1:200, 1:50)
