Building physics, mainly the following problems:
- heat transfer through the building constructions by means of conduction and convection
- numerical solution of difussion and convective-diffusion equations
- interstitial and surface condensation of water vapour

Development of software packages for the following tasks:
- two and three dimensional heat conduction
- two dimensional heat transfer caused by conduction and convection
- two dimensional radon transfer in porous materials
- calculation of interstitial and surface condensation
- calculation of thermal stability of rooms during the winter and summer season
- verification of radon protective measures
- calculation of heat loss and energy consumption
- design of construction with ventilated air layers
- calculation of acoustic properties of the building constructions
